30 November 2019 – Trip to Bristol City v Huddersfield Town

It was finally a dry day but pretty cold at Ashton Gate but the match was enough to warm up any football fan’s heart. What a game! Seven goals! Five of them for City.

We had great seats too, right up near the pitch and fairly central.

I think everyone really enjoyed the game especially Ms Hurst whose first football match this was. Speaking of which, thanks to her and Mr Lovatt without whom this trip could not have happened and also to AvonLine (Bristol) for letting us park for free again.

At the end of the day, we all felt sorry for the Huddersfield Town fans who travelled such a long way but the fact that there were so few of them meant that we even managed to get back on the road home pretty quickly so that we got home a little bit early – result!
