Bristol City (BCFC) vs Huddersfield Match, Ashton Gate, Bristol – Saturday 30th November 2019

Dear parent / carer, 

On Saturday 30th November 2019, we are taking a small group of learners to watch Bristol City play Huddersfield Town at Ashton Gate Stadium. The match kick off time is 3.00pm. Tickets are £17 each for children under 12 and £21 each for children 13-19. Spaces are limited to a maximum of 14 learners, on a first come first served basis, however, priority is given to learners that attend the After School Football Club. Tickets may be available for family and friends (these will need to be paid and booked separately). If you would like to purchase extra tickets please do so via BCFC. Please return the consent form together with payment by Friday 18th October 2019.

If you would like your child to travel to the match via school minibus, please choose from the available options:

1. Depart from Westhaven School for Ashton Gate Stadium by 1.30pm and arrive back at school for collection approximately 6.00 – 6.30pm
2. Depart from Backwell Post Office at 2.00pm and arrive back for collection approximately 5.30 – 6.00pm

OR

1. Meet outside Ashton Gate Stadium Club Shop at 2.30pm and be collected approximately 5.00pm

The school believes wholeheartedly in the value of these experiences, and subsidises the cost of visits as much as possible in an attempt to ensure that these opportunities are accessible and affordable to all. However, the school seldom has the financial resources to pay the full costs, therefore parents must contribute to this visit. Please regard this as an important investment in your child’s education. If we do not receive enough funds to cover costs, the event will unfortunately have to be cancelled. Please make cheques payable to North Somerset Council.
