Jools Holland helps with the Sports Hall Fundraiser

TV show presenter, pianist and big band leader Jools Holland from BBC’s “Later with Jools Holland” somehow got to hear about Westhaven’s fundraising project for a new sports hall. He very kindly sent a signed photograph and a letter to go with it. Jools, famous for his wry sense of humour has personalised the photograph with the legend “Very rare and valuable art work because it contains thoughts”.  There are “thought bubbles” coming out of his head in the photo, he is thinking – “I hope someone pays a lot for this!”

The school is organising an auction which will “time out” during our charity ball on the 26^th May on the pier. There will be lots of other goodies for auction to raise funds for the school.
