Dear parents/carers,
since the Covid-19 lockdown, we implemented some new communication systems in addition to our existing learning applications. Last week we successfully tested these new systems used in our Online Learning Platform and we would like to provide you with a quick explanation and a short guide on how to use these and how to support your child so he/she can access the online education and therapy sessions provided by the Westhaven School teaching teams.
We would also like to remind you that all the rules of the learner AUP (Acceptable Use Policy) apply when using these systems. The user activity on this platform is constantly monitored and user activity is recorded, however, we are asking all parents as well to monitor your child’s online activity at all times. Abusive language will not be tolerated and any inappropriate content will be removed and reported to the relevant authorities.
After using these systems for a week it is clear that they provide the opportunity for learners and staff to keep in touch and to deliver lessons or therapy sessions online. Please make sure that learners are using these systems responsibly so we can continue providing these services for the whole school community.
Best regards,
Endre Gal
