W6 Karaoke Trip

As part of the English course the class were tasked to plan a leisure activity. After a constructive debate they decided upon a trip to Allstars karaoke. After catching the public bus into town the class had a short walk to Allstars where they were shown to their own booth.  They were able to choose their own songs and the fancy dress box was a bonus!

During the discussion all the class met speaking and listening outcomes through stating preferences of song choice, being expressive and discussing the pro’s and con’s of the trip.

At the karaoke they chose their favourite songs and sang duets with friends. It was such a creative and enjoyable way to assess their speaking and listening skills. The whole class loved it, they bonded well and sang (mostly) in tune! We were so impressed with how confident they were and the level of enthusiasm, it was such a unique opportunity to see them relax and enjoy time with peers.
